KABUL (Pajhwok): As many as 2,595 foreign nationals entered and exited Afghanistan last month, according to a statement on Saturday.
The National Information and Statistics Authority (NISA) in a statement said last month 1,490 foreigners, including 24 women have entered Afghanistan while 1,105 others, including eight women had exited Afghanistan.
Source said the entry of 1,438 of these people recorded at the county’s land ports and 52 others at airport, among them 188 foreigners have tourist visa and others were business.
Majority of the entry and exit of foreigners registered at the Nimroz, Torkham, Hairatan land ports and Balkh airport exit and entry points, the statement said.
Earlier, NSIA has recorded 3,143 foreigners during entry and exit via land ports and airports on January.
