Over 18,000 operations performed in Esteqlal Hospital last year

KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 18,000 medical operations were performed free of cost in the Eteqlal National and Specialized Hospital last year, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Saturday.

On its X handle the ministry wrote: “About 18,047 surgical operations happened in Esteqlal National and Specialized Hospital last year”.

These operations performed by experienced Afghan doctors and specialists in different departments for free, source added.

According to MoPH, 186,581 outpatient services (OPD) and 29,272 other inpatient services (IPD) have been provided in this hospital.
