CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A spring futsal tournament, featuring 16 teams, concluded in central Parwan province on Saturday, with Tadabar Tafakor Naib team emerging victorious.
Head of Physical Taining and Sports Abdul Zahir Khaliqyar said the tournament that started on June 19 was aimed at identifying good players for the national squad in Salang district boys school.
Alireza from Nasrat team was adjudged as high goal striker and Ahmad Rishad as the best goal-keeper of the tournament.
Saland district administrative chief Hafiz Samiullah Omari at the final match ceremony emphasized on the atmosphere of brotherhood and unity among the youth.
He added the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) desired to provide the athletes with all possible facilities.
