KABUL (Pajhwok): A delegation headed by Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has arrived in Doha to attend the third UN-convened meeting.
The Doha huddle, being attended by diplomats and representatives from different countries and organisations, is scheduled to commence this evening and will continue tomorrow as well.
An IEA delegation led by its spokesman left Kabul for Doha on Saturday, Mujahid wrote on his X handle.
While leaving Kabul, he told reporters they were going to attend the Doha meeting for “mutual understanding and solving problems” and would call on the world for positive interaction with Afghanistan.
The UN chief’s spokesman Stephane Dujarric said representatives and envoys from 30 countries and international bodies had been invited to the meeting, to be chaired by Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo.
