BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): One person was killed and six others were injured after two families using sticks and knives clashed over children’s fight in central Bamyan province, an official said on Monday.
Governor’s spokesman Abdul Sabor Farzan Saighani told Pajhwok Afghan News the clash happened in Haidar Abad area of Bamyan city on Sunday (evening).
He said first seven people were injured in the clash and they were evacuated to the provincial hospital where one person succumbed to his wounds
Governor Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi has intervened and officials are trying to resolve the feud, Saghani added.
Rajab Ali, a resident, said the clash broke out after elders of the two families jumped into a physical scuffle between children.
According to him, if parents pay attention to their children’s education and social relations, such situation can be avoided.
