12 alleged criminals arrested in Herat

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Twelve alleged criminals have been arrested, five stolen motorcycles, $10,000 fake dollar banknotes seized by security forces during separate operations in western Herat province, a statement said on Monday.

Herat Police Headquarters in a statement said that personnel of Herat City’s 10^th Police District during an operation recovered five stolen motorcycles.

Nine people have been arrested in connection to this incident, the detainees were being investigated.

Police also recovered 10,000 fake dollar banknotes at a money exchange shop in Herat City during transaction and arrested three people in connection to fake banknote.

Crime Branch Chief Mawlavi Khalid Ayubi said three people from the Money Exchange Market have been arrested.
