Azizi-led delegation leaves for Tashkent

KABUL (Pajhwok): A delegation, headed by Minister of Commerce and Industry Nooruddin Azizi has travelled to Uzbekistan.

The team, including government and private sector representatives left Kabul for Tashkent today (Tuesday), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) wrote on its X handle.

The delegates will attend an exhibition of Afghan products and a Commercial Communication Conference in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The delegation will also meet Uzbek officials on bilateral trade issues.

The Afghan product exhibition will kick off today and continue for three days. About 250 Afghan traders and industrialists will display their products such as carpets, handicrafts, precious and semi-precious stones and dried fruits.
