TRINKOT (Pajhwok): An enmity between two families in the Gezab district of southern Ghazni province has ended through the mediation of local officials, religious scholars and tribal elders, an official said on Wednesday.
Gezab District Administrative Chief Mir Hamza Hanafi said two families in the Naikzo locality disputed over a piece of land four months ago in which two persons suffered casualties.
He said the enmity between the two sides ended through reconciliation by local officials, religious scholars and tribal elders.
As a result of the land dispute one member of a family was killed and another injured.
He said the Abdul Rahim and Karimullah families pledged to live in peace and forget the past confrontations.
Karimullah also thanked officials for mediating reconciliation with Abdul Rahim’s family.
