KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has shared information with acting Foreign Minister Mualvi Amir Khan Muttaqi about his participation in the UN-convened meeting in Doha and meetings on the huddle’s sidelines.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said after returning from Doha, Mujahid shared information with the foreign minister about the meeting on Afghanistan.
Zabihullah Mujahid and representatives from about 30 countries and international organizations attended the meeting chaired by UN Deputy Secretary General Rosemary Di Carlo.
MoFA deputy spokesman Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal wrote on X Mujahid met Muttaqi and shared information about the Doha meeting other meetings held on various topics.
Mujahid also told a press conference in Kabul today that the Doha meeting ended in Afghanistan’s favor and 24 other meetings were held with representatives of different countries on the event’s sidelines. Rosemary Di Carlo told reporters in Qatar yesterday that after the Doha meeting, she met Afghan civil society activists, including women and men and representatives of 15 countries.
She said the activists discussed the rights of women and minorities and some other issues in the meeting.
