UNICEF to renovate 190 primary schools in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) will renovate 190 primary school buildings in Afghanistan this year.

The UN agency wrote on social media platform X: “UNICEF is renovating 190 primary schools in Afghanistan this year for 200,000 children”.

“These buildings create a school environment more conducive to children’s learning.

UNICEF has established community-based schools for children in many areas of Afghanistan.
