Couple gunned down inside home in Farah

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Unknown assailants broke into a house and gunned down a man and his wife in Farahrud district of western Farah province last night, police said on Thursday.

The Farah Police Headquarters in a statement said the husband and wife were shot dead inside their home in Hajiabad village.

The motive behind the double murder remains unclear and so far no one has been arrested, but security forces are investigating the incident, the statement said.
