ASADABAD (Pajhwok): For the first time, mobile health teams have been sent to rural areas of eastern Kunar province to provide services.
Kunar Public Health director Qari Muzaffar Mukhlis said they launched the program with financial support of the United Nations Population Fund.
The mobile health teams will provide services to people in remote areas of Narang, Sarkan, Shaltan, Dangam, Ghaziabad, Naari, Wattapur, Chapadara and Pech Dara districts.
“We are grateful to the UN Population Fund for providing health facilities in areas whose residents lacked full access to health services.”
He hoped efforts would continue to further strengthen and develop health services and wished health workers would serve their people with full sincerity, honesty and integrity.
