KABUL (Pajhwok): The national futsal team has arrived in Morocco for two friendly matches against the hosts, the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) announced on Tuesday.
AFF wrote on its Facebook page the national squad would play two friendly matches against Morocco on July 10 and 13.
It said the matches would be played behind closed doors. AFF believed the matches would be a good preparation for the upcoming Futsal World Cup.
Afghanistan are placed in Group C of the 2024 Futsal World Cup along with Argentina, Ukraine and Angola.
The 10th edition of Futsal World Cup is scheduled to commence on September 14 and 24 teams will take parts in the mega event to be hosted by Uzbekistan.
