NEILI (Pajhwok): The Refugees and Repatriation Department of central Daikundi province says 65 houses will be built for refugees, internally displaced persons and needy families in Neili City, the provincial capital.

In a statement, the Refugees Department said that construction of 65 shelters would cost $355,680.

It said the project was being implemented by the Watan Development and Social Services Institute (WSTA) with financial support from UNHCR.

The project was launched on Tuesday in the presence of officials from implementing agencies.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
