KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kankor examination process has been completed in five phases this year with its last phase concluded today (Friday), an official has said.
A total of 100,000 candidates took part in the Kankor examination out of which 75,500 successful candidates would be absorbed to different universities and high education organisations.
Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Haqqani, head of the National Examination Authority (NEA), told a gathering at Kabul University that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) was committed to provide more facilities to the youth of the country.
In his message to unsuccessful candidate he said those who could not achieve the desired result should not get disappointed and get ready for the next year’s exam.
Meanwhile, some Kankor examination participants have demanded the increase of higher education opportunities and reduction of Kankor examination questions.
Ahmad Musaddiq, one of the participants, was happy about the transparent conduct of Kankor examination and said 160 questions was too much which should be reduced.
