7 people killed, 5 injured in Baghlan traffic accidents

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Seven people were killed and five others injured in two separate traffic accidents in northern Baghlan province on Saturday, police said.

Six people were killed and five others injured when a Sarach type and Ranger type vehicles collided in the Khawaja Alwan locality of Pul-i-Khumri this morning, a statement from the provincial Police Headquarters said.

Separately, a motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident in the Hussainkhelo locality of Pul-i-Khumri.

The accident happened due to collision between motorcycle and a Paso type vehicle.
