Man gunned down in Baghlan, 3 suspects arrested

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Unknown assailants shot dead a man in Markazi Baghlan district of northern Baghlan province, police said on Monday.

In a statement, the police headquarters identified the slain person as Wali Jan, saying the youth was gunned down by unknown assailants in Shahr-e-Jadid area of Markazi Baghlan district last night.

Police Chief Abdul Samad Javad blamed the murder on personal enmity, saying three suspects had been arrested in connection with the case.

Recently, such violent incidents originating from domestic violence and personal enmities have increased, but the government has so far resolved hundreds of enmities  between families and tribes in cooperation with tribal elders.
