SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): Seven individuals have been injured in a grenade attack in northern Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Naqibullah Alamyar told Pajhwok Afghan News an unknown motorcyclist lobbed a grenade at a gathering of Shia mourners in the Tawhidabad area of Sar-i-Pul City on Friday.
He said seven people were wounded in the blast. Police had launched a hunt for the attacker, the spokesman added.
