KABUL (Pajhwok): A standard transit lounge is being constructed at a cost of 290 million afghanis at the Kabul International Airport.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar laid the foundation stone of the project today (Thursday), his office said in a statement.
Funded by the private sector, the project will account for 290m afs and would take 18 months to complete.
The statement added the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) would execute 43 schemes at a cost of 3.7 billion afghanis in the transport sector during the current solar year to provide facilities to the countrymen.
