KABUL (Pajhwok): At least nineteen people were wounded when a passenger bus overturned in the Syed Abad district of central Maidan Wardak province, police said on Sunday.
The accident took place when a 570-type bus veered off the road and flipped over in Sherzai Baba area of the district on Saturday night, the police headquarters said in a statement.
It said nineteen people injured in the incident were evacuated to district health centre for medical treatment.
The statement blamed the mishap on reckless driving.
