KABUL (Pajhwok): The Qamar Foundation which provides help to vulnerable people, orphans and reconstructs mosques has announced 300 bachelor scholarships for boys and girls.
The foundation spokesperson Abdullah Raihan told Pajhwok Afghan News the scholarship would be granted to the students who failed in this year’s Kankor examination and were financially unsound, some girls who graduated from 12th class in the past would also be granted scholarships.
Raihan said boys would be granted scholarships for computer science, engineering, journalism scholarships while girls would be granted gynecology, stomatology and nursing scholarships.
Through these scholarships boys and girls would be admitted to private universities in Kabul, Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces, he added.
Reihan said youth could make online registration for these scholarships and after specific technical inspections the winners would be announced.
Mohibullah, the resident of Kabul City, said he was hopeful for the Qamar Foundation scholarships and said he was trying to register as soon as possible.
