6 killed, 2 wounded in Helmand traffic accident

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Six people, including a woman and four children, were killed and two others injured in a traffic accident in southern Helmand province, an official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Mullah Ezatullah Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place when a Saracha-type vehicle veered off the road and overturned, leaving six people included a woman, four children dead and two others injured.

The injured were rushed to hospital by security forces and they were said to be in stable condition, he added.
