First time ever, Afghanistan to issue e-driving licenses

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Saturday announced the process of issuing electronic driving licenses would be started soon.

Mufti Abdul Matin Qani, spokesman for MoI, wrote on his X handle that for the first time in Afghanistan, electronic licenses will be issued according to international standards.

He said many others positive changes will also be made in traffic sector in addition to preventing traffic accidents over the distribution of electronic driving licenses.
