AIBAK (Pajhwok): A businessman has completed the construction of a mosque along the Samangan-Balkh highway in northern Samangan province, at a cost of $380,000.

Maulvi Ferozuddin Munib, the director of culture and information in Samangan, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Haji Abdul Quddus Arbabzada funded the project, which took over two years to complete.

The mosque features three floors and can accommodate 500 worshippers.

In addition to the main prayer hall, the project includes an ablution area, a restaurant, a green park, a women's seminary, and residential quarters for the imam and staff families.
