KABUL (Pajhwok): Two Afghan taekwondo players have left for China to attend the Asian Championship, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) said on Wednesday.
The committee wrote on X the two athletes of the <em>(International Taekwondo Federation ‘ITF’ – Afghanistan)</em> had been sent to China with cooperation from ITF.
The taekwondo event is scheduled to take place in the Yunnan province of China from August 7 to 9.
The Asian Championship features athletes from eight Asian countries, according to NOC.
