KABUL (Pajhwok): The construction of a road costing more than 107 million afghanis has begun in Kabul, the municipality said on Wednesday.
The Kabul Municipality wrote on X the road -- 2,009 metres long and 24 to 40 metres wide -- was being constructed in the Salim Karwan area of 12th district.
The project also includes the construction of streams, sidewalks and vases, installation of lights and traffic signals, as well as bicycle lanes.
The construction of the road will be completed in nearly one year.
