KABUL (Pajhwok): The third anniversary of the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) was commemorated with special ceremonies in Kabul and several provinces across the country.
In Kabul and other provinces, including Laghman, Faryab, Logar, Uruzgan, and Panjsher, gatherings were held to mark the occasion.
Governor Sher Ahmad Haqqani of Laghman addressed a gathering, celebrating the third anniversary of IEA, highlighted the absence of war and crime, urging all Afghans to be grateful to Allah (swt) for the Islamic system in place.
In Faryab, Governor Abdul Ahad Fazli reflected on the 20-year struggle of Afghans that led to the current Islamic governance, praising the achievements made under this system.
Logar's Governor, Maulvi Zia-ul-Rahman Madani, spoke at a public gathering, emphasizing the cooperative role of the people in the IEA's rise to power.
He celebrated the day as one of pride, noting the defeat of America and the restoration of the Islamic Emirate.
Governor Maulvi Mohammad Qasim Khalid of Uruzgan echoed sentiments of national peace and security, attributing the stability to the IEA's governance.
He assured that all former military and civil servants had been granted general amnesty, and no acts of revenge would be tolerated.
In Panjsher, Information and Culture Director Nasrullah Malikzada said that a special ceremony was held, attended by hundreds of people.
He characterized the day as significant and memorable, highlighting the defeat of a global superpower as a testament to Afghan strength and resilience.
