KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan Film, a film production body of the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC), has presented three documentary films in the Kabul, an official said on Tuesday.
Faizullah Jawhari, head of the Afghan Film, told a gathering his department has made three documentaries in the last ten months which will be displayed today (Tuesday).
The first documentary he said called Archif-i-Melli which is about It is about the existence and preservation of historical monuments, the second is "Mother of Bombs", which is about the bomb dropped by the Americans in Nangarhar and the lives of the people of the region, and the third is called "The horrors of the Americans in Helmand" tells stories of American atrocities in Sanguine District
Jawhari said that Afghan film and theater make people aware of the important issues of society and work to keep culture and history alive.
Mawlavi Atiqullah Azizi, deputy cultural and information minister, said In the past 20 years, foreign cultures were brought to Afghanistan that were in conflict with Afghan culture, but after the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, these things have disappeared.
He said Afghan people have suffered a lot and all these stories should recorded and made part of the history.
