MoI team condoles with Pashtoon’s family

KABUL (Pajhwok): Interior Ministry officials have extended their condolence with the family of Hameed Jalal Pashtoon, who was mistakenly killed by security personnel some days ago.

The MoI delegation also gave the bereaved family 200,000 afs in assistance, the ministry said in a statement.

It said: “To extend condolences to the family of Hameed Jalal Pashtoon, mistakenly killed by one of the mujahideen in the 16^th police district, a delegation of MoI visited the victim’s residence.”

The deputy interior minister conveyed a condolence and sympathy message from the MoI leadership to the victim’s family and said the killer of Pashtoon had been arrested and his case submitted to the Shariat court.

Maulvi Zainullah Abir, head of the interior minister’s office, said: “Our sorrows and happiness are shared. We share your sorrowful moments.”

MoI said the grandfather of the victim called for justice and sought punishment for the killer under the Shariah law..
