KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 17 people were killed and 40 others injured as a result of an explosion in Andhra Pradesh state of India, Reuters reported on Thursday.
Reuters quoted Andhra Pradesh police chief M Deepika as saying the blast occurred at the Escientia Advance Science factory of Amakpali district on Wednesday,
What caused the explosion was not yet and 3000 employees were present at the time of the explosion.
Meanwhile, a fire breakout in a hotel and restaurant in eastern India killed six people and injured more than 20.
Every year, fire breakouts kill dozens people and injure hundreds in different areas of India.
