TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) will construct buildings for seven schools in central Uruzgan province, an official said on Thursday.
UNICEF provincial director Dr. Ahmad Fawad, who met deputy governor Mullah Bari Gul, said they would construct six water supply networks and repair 13 school buildings.
Fawad promised that the organization would implement these projects in Tirinkot, the provincial capital, and districts.
He did not name the districts where the projects would be implemented.
The deputy governor assured UNICEF of all possible cooperation in implementation of these projects.
