KABUL (Pajhwok): The media should observe the policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, respect the privacy of individuals in broadcasting their news, the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) said on Sunday.
MoIC wrote on its X handle a coordination meeting led by successor of the Ministry of Broadcasting Affairs Ziaul Haq Haqmal was held with media representatives and reporters on Saturday.
The ministry was committed to cooperating with media and trying to solve their problems in accessing information, Haqmal explained.
He said media should to obey the policy of IEA and respect the privacy of individuals in broadcasting news and inform the nation of developments on time.
Media representatives insisted the MoIC should cooperate more with them in the field of access to information.
