Sweden gives Afghanistan $6.8m in humanitarian aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) says Sweden has contributed 6.8 million US dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF).

OCHA wrote on its X handle thank you Sweden for your support to Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF)

It said: “As the fourth largest and regular contributing donor to the Fund, Sweden has provided over SEK 874M since the Fund’s inception in 2014.”

Earlier, the United States and United Kingdom had contributed $330 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
