Girls’ school building completes in Sar-i-Pul

SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): Construction of a new girls' school building has been completed in Sancharak district in northern Sar-i-Pul province at a cost of 15.7 million afghanis.

The project, funded by the Paco Foundation, is now operational.

Hidayat-ul-Rahman, Deputy Director of the Education Department, announced that the single-storey building located in Gozar village has eight classrooms, four office rooms, five toilets, and a guard room.

Additionally, the facility includes a solar power system, 160 student desks and chairs, six management desks, and 12 chairs for teachers.

Previously, female students would attend classes at the Gozar Male High School. The new building addresses this issue and provides a dedicated space for girls’ education.

"We are very happy that a separate school has been built for our daughters," said Haji Abdullah, a resident of Gozar village.

Salim, another local resident, praised the new facility, noting that it is well-equipped and will greatly enhance the learning environment for students.
