MAIMANA CITY (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Supreme Leader Shaikh Hibatullah Akhundzada has stressed the implementation of Hudood Law and the safety of people’s lives, honors and properties, a statement said on Sunday.
During a trip to northern Faryab province, the IEA supreme leader also urged education and training and the implementation of law related to the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice.
A statement from the Information and Cultural Affairs of Faryab said IEA Chief Shaikh Hibatullah Akhundzada arrived in Maimana and met with the officials of this province.
He said: “The conquest and victory that came to us was not achieved through the means of war; Rather, it was the help and support of the Lord of the Worlds, the shedding of a lot of blood and the cooperation of the nation, that this victory was granted to us, that is why I directed that the date of 15 August to be named as Yom al-Fath.”
