FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): A driver was killed in a traffic accident in the Baharak district of northeastern Badakhshan province while 10 passengers were injured in three separate traffic traffic accidents in northwestern Faryab province on Saturday, an official said.
Traffic Department Director Qari Gulbuddin Suhail told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened this afternoon when a Paso type vehicle turned over in the Bamdara Tunnel.
Only driver was driving the vehicle who was killed as a result of the accident.
Separately, 10 people were injured in three separate accidents in Maimana, the capital of Faryab province, and chalgazi district.
Traffic Department Director Ahmad Fahim Kohi said a Sarach type vehicle carrying school teachers was skidded off the road as a result four passengers, including the driver, was injured.
Two people were injured as a result of Rakshawa and truck in Maimana City.
In the third accident a Paso and Saracha type vechiels collided in the main Bazaar of Chalgazi district in which four people, including a woman and a child were injured.
