Refrain from rifts, Haibatullah tells IEA officials

KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Supreme Leader Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada has directed mujahideen to avoid differences and embrace unity and brotherhood.

He said this at a meeting with Ministry of Defence (MoD) 217-Omari Corps’ officials, religious scholars, influential figures and disabled people, MoD said in a statement.

Akhundzada emphasised on unity, sincerity, piety and obedience to the mujahideen.

He said: “Avoid differences that could lead to failure and defeat. Embrace unity and brotherhood because they could lead to progress.”

He also asked the officials to have faith in Allah, not in material things. He issued instructions to the officials to enforce good governance.
