KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Deputy Political Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir on Sunday said that Afghans never accepted occupation and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) wanted cordial relationship with the international community, including the United States of America (USA).

He expressed the views during the inauguration ceremony of a 252KV sub-station and 220KV transmission line installation in the Tarakhel locality of the capital Kabul. The project cost $18 million.

He said the IEA of Afghanistan wanted cordial relationship with the international community.

“Everyone coming to Afghanistan and investing in Afghanistan the IEA hug is opened for them, the IEA and the faithful Afghan nation will never accept occupation, if someone coming to Afghanistan with the intension of occupation they should know the history of this nation, if someone is intend enmity with Afghanistan it is clear that they would get the same response and if someone want to work with Afghans we also work with them,” he said.

He said IEA foreign policy is economic centric and wanted to work with the international community in line with the Islamic principles.

He said: “Someone asked me the USA is now friend or enemy? I said when the USA was in Afghanistan it was our enemy but when a deal was signed in Doha between the two sides it paved the way for joint work and collaboration, USA companies could come and invest in Afghanistan.”

Acting deputy prime minister for political affairs the purpose of Jihad has been achieved and now the IEA has no problem with the international community.

He said there is peace and security in Afghanistan, there are no warlords, no occupation and an Islamic system is enforced.
