2-year-old overrun by truck in Jawzjan

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A two-year-old child has been killed as a result of a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Tuesday.

Police officer Maulvi Mohammadullah Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News a truck run over the child in the Dali Arigh area of Qarqin district on Monday evening.

According to Ahmadi, the truck driver has been arrested and is currently under investigation.
