KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan exported 52,613 tonnes of cotton worth $66 million over the past five months, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).
In a statement, the MoCI said that 52,613 tonnes of cotton valued at $66 million were exported to various countries during the first five months of the current year.
The statement added that the cotton was exported to Pakistan, China, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iran, India, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, and the United States.
