Parwan police seize large weapons cache

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Police have seized a large weapons cache in central Parwan province, an official said on Tuesday.

In a statement, Parwan police spokesman Fazli Rahim Meskinyar said the  weapons and ammunitions were discovered in 11^th Parcha area of Izatkhel region in Jablus Saraj district.

He said: “The seizure includes a Doshka's gun, Zikvik, a PPSH, 10 hand grenades, rocket, anti-aircraft weapon, bullets, two armored, a tank communication, two M40 rifles, three Boxing contains several pairs of military uniforms and 370 grams of hashish”.

A man has been arrested in connection with the case and he is now in custody of the anti-narcotics department.
