UK gives Afghanistan £6m in aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Kingdom has contributed six million pound to the Afghanistan humanitarian fund, says the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Afghanistan.

OCHA wrote on X: “#OCHA thanks the #UnitedKingdom for their new contribution of GBP 6 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund for 2024-2025.”

As the largest multi-year and regular contributing donor to the Fund, the UK has provided over GBP 304 million since the Fund’s establishment in 2014.
