Proteas in UAE for ODI series against Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The South African squad has arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a three match One-Day International (ODI) series against Afghanistan.

The South Africans landed in the UAE late on Saturday night, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) wrote on its Facebook page.

The opener of the series being hosted by Afghanistan is scheduled for Wednesday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Earlier, ACB had named a 17-member squad for the white-ball series against the Springboks.
