KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Education (MoE) has started the reconstruction work on 25 education buildings at a cost of 20 million afs in western Herat province.
The projects were being executed from ministry budget, MoE wrote on its X handle.
The ministry quoted Herat Education Director Maulvi Rahmatullah Jabar as saying: “The projects are being implemented to provide students with proper education environment in remote areas of the province.”
He said the projects included reconstruction buildings for schools and religious seminaries.
On Saturday, MoE said a school building was being repaired by local residents in Qarabagh district of southern Ghazni province.
It said the project will be accounted for 95,000 US dollars. About 40,000 students would be provided with proper education environment with execution of the project.
