Uruzgan woman guns down brother

TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): A widow has shot dead her brother in revenge for the killing of her spouse in central Uruzgan province, an official said on Wednesday.

Mullah Agha Wali Inam, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the woman gunned down her brother in the Bazaar area of the Deh Rawood district on Tuesday night.

He said: "The woman's husband had been killed by her brother some time ago.” The woman has been arrested by police and is currently being interrogated.
