Woman, child killed, 8 wounded in Baghlan accident

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): A woman and a child died and eight others were injured in a traffic accident in northern Baghlan province on Wednesday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said the accident took place when a Saracha-type vehicle overturned, killing a woman and a child.

Three women and as many children were among eight people injured the mishap in Garagel area of Khenjan district.

Last week, a truck overturned, leaving three people dead and injured in the province.
