Ghor earns 92m afs revenue from passport distribution

 FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): The Passport Department in central Ghor province has announced distributing 17,000 passports over the past six months, generating above 92 million afghanis in revenue.

Maulvi Sultan Ahmad Qasimi, the head of the Passport Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News that this year’s efforts resulted in the issuance of more than 17,000 passports, significantly boosting their financial intake.

Last year, the department's revenue totaled around 32 million afghanis. With a few months remaining in the fiscal year 1403, officials expect revenue to increase several times compared to the previous year.
