PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two women have allegedly committed suicide in Pul-i-Alam city of central Logar province, an official said on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Maulvi Ahmadullah Anas told Pajhwok Afghan News a young girl and another woman took the extreme step due to family violence.
He said these women had consumed poisonous substances and lost their lives due to family problems.
Anti- crimes department is investigating. Meanwhile, suicide is a major sin in Islam.
