1 killed, 19 wounded in Parwan accidents

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A man has been killed and 19 other people have been wounded in three separate traffic accidents in central Parwan province, police said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said two cars collided in the Deh Maskin area of Charikar, the provincial capital, late on Tuesday. Eleven people were wounded in the collision.

The statement added two people were injured in the second accident in Disabled Township in the provincial capital.

One man lost his life and five others were injured in the third mishap in the Syedkhel district of the province on Tuesday.

The injured were evacuated to the civil hospital for medical treatment, the statement concluded.
