UNICEF to help MoPH improve health services

KABUL (Pajhwok): United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Representative Dr. Tajudeen Oyewale has pledged working together with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) to improve health services in the country.

He held out the promise at a meeting with Acting Minister of Public Health Noor Jalal Jalali here on Tuesday, MoPH wrote on its X handle.

Jalali emphasised on the provision of standard health services to all citizens of the country.

The UNICEF representative briefed the minister on the services provided by the organisation and work done to address existing problems.

He promised joint work with MoPH to further enhance the delivery of health services to people of Afghanistan.

Earlier, Jalali had discussed assistance to Afghanistan’s health sector with a visiting Iranian delegation.
